ZFF's partnership with Mitzvah Circle to create future leaders together through the Youth Engagement Program

  • Teen Ambassadors: This program empowers high school students to make a difference in their communities gaining valuable community service experience while developing and strengthening their own leadership and communication skills as they guide new volunteer groups.  After one year, they become Leadership Fellows, helping to train new groups of Teen Ambassadors.  Students in the program will also have opportunities to participate in resume writing and financial literacy workshops as well as apply for a college scholarship.  
  • Interns: Internships at Mitzvah Circle provide real-world experience in all aspects of a grass-roots, non-profit organization.  Undergraduate and graduate internships are offered in spring, summer, and fall semesters in Social Work, Non-Profit Administration, Marketing/Event Management, and Facilies Management.

Worthwhile

  • Worthwhile connects with and serves survivors of human trafficking through their Worth It (education, empowerment, and prevention) program; safe housing and wrap-around services; and vocational training at Worthwhile Thrift.

Zeigler Institute for Professional Development (ZIPD) 

Terry and JoAnn Zeigler Annual Scholarship - CU Bloomsburg

  • Half tuition scholarship for transfer student in the Zeigler College of Business who is from a community college in PA and is a PA resident (1 male and 1 female recipient). Must be Full-time and have financial need. A minimum of 60 transfer credits, preference to students who have completed an Associate's Degree. Preference to students who participated in dual enrollment in high school, or participated in the Zeigler Institute for Professional Development at their community college. Renewable for a second year if student maintains at least a 3.0 GPA.

John R. Hoffecker Vocational and Trade School Scholarship

  • Named for ZFF c0-founder Terry Zeigler's grandfather, this scholarship is for students in the greater Pottstown, PA area pursuing vocational or trade school programs.  The scholarship was implemented by Stichter Lodge No. 254 F&AM and application details can be found at PA Masonic Youth Foundation.
